The aim of the Economic Development Agency is to improve the economic structure of the Dahme-Spreewald District, particularly by supporting existing companies and by encouraging new enterprises to set up in the area. Publicising, creating and marketing a sufficient supply of attractive industrial and commercial properties constitutes one vital task within the range of duties performed by the Economic Development Agency.
