Object of the company
To improve the structure of the Dahme-Spreewald District by developing its economy, its transport system, its tourism, its leisure and recreation facilities as well as its social, cultural and sporting facilities. To achieve this object, the company is authorised in particular:
- to advise and support its shareholders in their local and regional planning activities and in their efforts to improve local infrastructures
- to advise and support existing and prospective local companies in acquiring plots and buildings, obtaining credit, recruiting labour, finding residential space, and applying for financial assistance
- to encourage new companies to set up business in the district
- to buy, let out on lease, and sell plots, to connect plots to the local infrastructure and to develop them, and to provide premises suitable for the purposes of trade and industry
- to support tourist companies in their advertising efforts and in their endeavour to improve tourist facilities and amenities, and to cooperate to this effect with the tourist associations
